Some believe that being on time means being there when you’re supposed to be.
Being at work by 9am means showing up to work by 9am, that means you’re punctual, right?
But what employers see this as is, “I’m showing up to do just what I need to do, and I’m not getting here any sooner that I have to.”
This is also the same for kids doing just enough to graduate with C’s and never striving to become the best they can become.
My definition of “On Time” is being where I need to be 15 minutes before I need to be there.
Try it and you’ll find out people take you more seriously and talk about you with more respect.
