Taking responsibility means not placing blame on others and accepting the good/bad that has happened to us.
When failure happens to us we have a tendency to want to place the blame on others instead of placing it on ourselves and saying, “I didn’t put in the work.”
When we place blame on others we can never fix what is needed to be fixed so that the next time we try we succeed. The mind shift only occurs when we admit that we failed and didn’t live up to our expectations, and in doing so we begin to work on those areas. The next time up, the chance of success goes up as well.
If you cannot take personal responsibility for your actions you will never get past the point where you are right now. You’ll be forever stuck right there.
