Share What You Know

There’s a saying that goes, “the best way to understand something is to teach it.”  But if teaching makes you feel a little uneasy because you aren’t the “expert”, then replace the word with “share”.

When we share with someone our brain has to sort out what’s the most important, thus helping us learn the important pieces of the technique.

What it really comes down do is the ability to create long term connections in your brain with a specific set of knowledge so that you may better understand the technique.

It’s also OK to teach something wrong, it helps you find the gaps in your own knowledge so you can find the answers faster.  As long as you understand that you are still learning as well.  Your “sharing” ability will only become stronger, eventually you will feel confident enough to change the word “sharing” into “teaching”.
