Never wish to eliminate the competition

If you’re at the top of your game, answer this question: “How did you get there.”

If you’re a golfer, then you’ve beaten every other player.  If you’re a runner, then you’ve outrun all the others.

But without competition, could that champion golfer have been as good? Could the runner run as fast without others trying to catch them?

We need competition to continually improve, create a better strategy, come up with better ideas.  The competition will change but the desire to get better is always greater with a challenge.
