For many years my father grew orchids and orchids are arguably the most beautiful flowers in the world. But orchids are very delicate. Water them too much they die. Water them too little they die. Put them next to other plants they die. If they have too much nutrients they die. If they have too little nutrients they die.
Weeds are arguably the most hated plant on the planet. They’re impossible to kill!! Water them too much they live. Water them too little they live. Put them next to other plants they live. If they have too much nutrients they live. If they have too little nutrients they live. Pull them out of the ground they come back stronger. Try to kill them with weed killer and they come back with 10 of their friends!
That being said, I want to be a weed! I want to thrive under any condition. Put me in a stressful situation, I will thrive. Put me under pressure, I will thrive. Ask me to do a difficult task, I will thrive. Tell me I can’t do something, I will thrive. Put me in situations where others won’t go, I will thrive.
Forget being fragile like the orchid and dying when things get tough. Become a weed that thrives in this world, that will come back when people try to take you down.
Be like a weed!
